last night, we received some profoundly sad news about our lovely friend kassim.
Kassim Mohamed Ali was an amazing human being. he staunchly believed in, and supported LGBT rights and always found a way to create avenues for us to express ourselves. the party scene in KL would not have been the same without him.
i remember the last performance i did for Marketplace. kassim insisted that he himself wanted to pick me up from my hotel in subang, because he was afraid that anyone else relied with the task, might be late. LOLs. that's just the kind of sincere and generous attention he so willingly gave to people. he certainly knew how to make a girl feel special.
i am gonna miss him so much.
thank you kassim for making our lives in KL fun. we are going to miss you immensely.
but most of all thank you for being my friend.
