ROZZ's STREISAND RETROSPECTIVE at NO BLACK TIE, JUNE 6th 2006

"The biggest challenge in doing a night of all-Streisand songs, is picking the right songs that'll keep the audience moved, as well as entertained", according to ROZZ. Celebrating his 6th show at No Black Tie, ROZZ still considers himself a newcomer to the KL live-music scene.

A studied vocal performer, ROZZ was trained as a classical vocalist by Anne Ridgeworth from the early age of 4. And ever since then, ROZZ has dedicated himself to the study of music and theatre. He himself admits that tonight brings special meaning for him because, "I grew up wanting to be Barbra Streisand."

ROZZ, who credits La Streisand, Joan Sutherland, and Freddie Mercury as major influences, has such a fascinating and commanding presence that one has to see him perform live to truly understand the phenomenon.
