i started out in the year on a very unhappy note, unsure where my career as a singer would take me, and feeling very drained. i only had ONE aim - which was to leave the job i was at, which i felt was exploiting me for my talents and clientele. with help from many friends and mentors, i made my move to a bigger city in october. thankfully it all worked out. i am a much happier person, career-wise and personally.
but i have to say this year was quite pivotal in me becoming the person that i wanted to be, because i drew up the courage to leave what was familiar to me, and sailed in unchartered waters. and it was with the help and advice from friends both from facebook and outside of facebook that i did it.
there were many things that i did in 2011 that i would fondly look back on, namely my foray into the fashion world by singing at the closing of the Stylo Mercedez Benz Awards, all the sold out shows at No Black Tie, Bagan's farewell weekend, and the recent Xmas Eve at my new favourite place in Penang, China House.
we have so many exciting things to look forward to together, in 2012, one of which, will of course be the launching of my "Rozz Live at No Black Tie" album.
i just want you to know that each and every one of you has played a very important part in my life, and how much i appreciate you being there for me.
i wanna say a very special thanks to faisol and jendela kl whom have so generously continued to have me as their "barbie doll" of sorts LOL. i am humbled and truly honored.
i have always said that i do not have any fans - just friends who like and support my work. and for being that, i thank you from the bottom of my heart
